2/2 TP2K line check

9 handed 2/2

V in the SB. Early 30s overweight white guy. Been playing with him for about an hour. No hands of note. Seems like he's a regular, staff knows him by name.

H pretty active and am up about $80. Not playing loose but am on a run of good hands in position. Raising limpers etc. Haven't shown down any really.

UTG +1 is an older Asian lady who's been playing about an hour. Saw her call a single raise pre and ultimately showdown AA, so I assume she can't be very good if she doesn't even three bet Aces.

OTTH

UTG limps, UTG ($180) +1 limps, H ($260) on button raises to $12 with KQ, V ($175) in SB calls, UTG calls, UTG +1 calls.

Flop ($45) K105

V in SB donks $25, UTG folds, UTG +1 calls $25, Hero raises $100, V thinks about 25 seconds and calls, UTG +1 folds.

Thought process: When V donks I estimate a reasonable range of Kx, K10, QJ, flush draws, 1010, 55, and maybe some 10x (unlikely).

When UTG +1 calls I consider her reasonable holdings: mostly Kx, QJ, and flush draws.

I figure I'm only losing to K10, 1010, 55 of which only the donker (would assume UTG +1 would raise these hands) would be likely to have, so I should raise for value with the plan to ship virtually every turn (A or diamonds are only scary cards)

Turn ($240) 6

V shoves his last 60. H calls.

Turn thoughts: Blank turn and I'm committed. Seems trivial.

Thoughts on my play? Thanks.

Looks fine to me. Raising flop with TP2K is not a usual thing to do but given his weak sizing, the wet board and the fact you have two opponents, seems right.

You should run your hand versus those ranges and look at your equity.

What do you think happens to their calling ranges if you ship flop there instead of leaving a weird amount behind?

Re: 2/2 TP2K line check

2/2 max BI is $180? if so that sucks.
Also if you've raised to 12 with 3 callers and the BB folds, there should be 50 in the pot on the flop. Also on the turn the there should be 275 in the pot on the turn with two lots of 100 plus the 25 call.

anyways besides the math errors the line seems fine. If you're getting too many callers pre think about increasing your raise sizing. Seeing as you're trying to isolate with KQo 3 callers isn't ideal.

with 175 effective pre and there being already 100 in the pot by the time action gets to you on the flop you're committed, so I'd prefer a jam or call rather than a wierd raise

Against a range of (AK, KQ-K9, QJ, 1010, 55, Ad10d, A5dd-A2dd) for V and (KQ-K9, QJ, 55, A5dd-A2dd) for UTG +1 I have 39% vs 38% and 23%, if free website I used is correct). I think they both definitely have more flush draws and might have more Kx so I think it's safe to say I'm way ahead of UTG +1 and even with V at the worst.

I'm not exactly sure what would happen if I ship flop. They'd have to be capable of calling off $140ish into a $235 pot, while being not committed, with the majority of their draws. That is just barely enough to deny proper odds to V, but if he calls UTG +1 is priced in with her more likely draw. As played, I think I may have given UTG +1 odds to chase once V calls, which is a mistake. I guess since maybe both options aren't the best (shipping may only be called by better and my play gave odds), maybe I should have just called. IDK.

Sorry I was actually up more like $110 at the time. Max buy-in of $150 which is even worse (SoCal low-limits). 4 calls and BB fold minus $5 rake = $45. Turn pot was wrong you're right, I forgot the UTG+1s 25$. Pot = $270.

Thanks for help.
