Villain 1 (600$): 50ish caucasian male, fairly passive, except against the table ueberfish, like to iso raise him and has had a few expenisve hands with him.
Villain 2 (100$): 50ish arabic male, losse player, likes to gamble and chase draws. is down two stacks and wants to make up his losses. plays any potential including gutshots and bottom pair. can fold if he misses completely
knows hero to be fairly tight and has commented so on several other occasions
Hero (150$): pretty tight tag (bodering nitty),

Pretty loose and deep table, a lot of betting preflop. 6-10 bb raises often are called by multiple (3-4) players
almost every hand becomes a big pot. there are 2 nut peddling regs. the rest is pretty loose and likes to win a nice pot (even if that mean bluffing and agressive betting) pots over 300$ with second pair and gutshots at the showdown are common

$2/2 NL (10 handed)
UTG folds
EP V2 calls 2
EP+1 folds
MP V1 calls 2
MP+1 folds
MP+2 folds
CO calls 2
Button V1 calls 2
SB Hero checks
BB checks

Hero is dealt 59

Flop ($12) 3,4,5
Hero checks, V2 bets 12$,all fold to V1 who calls
Hero?

I would raise this to $50 and ship any turn.

If they reraise me OTF im also going all in. I doubt V1 will call without a set or flopped straight and your likely ahead of V2 so these are the spots to get the money in.

Thanks, that was my line of thought as well. ended up raising to 42. V1 called and V2 shipped me effectively all in. pot is 250, about 100 more for me.
hero?

What range do you put V1 on for flatting your raise? What do you think V2 needs to shove with? My first instinct here is to fold to the shove because the risk your facing a better made hand and a better flush draw is too high.

If you don't think either villain has a flush draw here, shoving is right though. You are probably facing two better hands, but your getting the odds to chase your flush as long as you have the best flush draw. The outside chance of catching something else that is good is just a small bonus.

i was not worried about V1:
he could have had any piece of the flop: any pair, pocket pair, straight or flushdraw. he likes to draw, but usually gets it in when he is very strong, i put him on any pair or any draw. im probably way ahead of his range
V2s raise worried me and i had trouble putting him on a hand since he only flatted V1s initiall raise and then shoved over my raise. is this the (nut) flushdraw, flopped straight, set or only two pair?

Couldn't find the old link that discussed these "phantom" big draws in MW spot...maybe someone else could.

Anyhow, if we're trying to get it in against multiple opponents in this spot, think of it as us playing with only two cards in a PLO game.

You could be drawing practically dead.

thanks everybody, i ended upt calling since i felt V1 could have almost anything and i didnt think V2 would play a flush draw like this, leaving me in any case the outs for the flush.
V1 had 88
V2 hit his set 33 (really caught me by surprise since i would expect him to defend against flush and straight draws
two blanks came and V2won

I see that play from bad players a lot. There is one bet in front of them and they don't want to push hard for fear of scaring their one opponent out of hand, so they call. When there is action behind and multiple villains, they suddenly get worried about the draws and over bet/shove.

so what line should i have taken. since it is only a limped pot and im out of position i wouldnt have felt too bad about folding directly on the flop (the table was quite good and the hand seems in retrospective marginal, should i just wait for a better spot). should i just call the flop and reevaluate on the turn, or just folded after the raise from V2.
