Hi
2/2 game at local cardroom in paris
vilain in the hand came up at 3 am (like 30 min ago), with 150 at table
He has played 14 hands on 15 dealt or so, already stacked of 75bbs preflop with KQo against an UTG raise where he was the SB, showed J4o on a pot where he floated oop on flop after calling a raise pre, he checked turn, bet river opponent folded, and showed the bluff (that was his first hand)
hand I had with him :
he limps UTG with 84 chips, I iso to 10 with 99, every one folds except him
flop 662
he ckecks, I bet 14, he raises 34, I shove he folds.

the hand :

we are 8 handed, 5 people limp, our boy on the sb checks, I check as well with A4o in BB

flop : 33T
everyone checks
turn : 5
everyone checks
river : 2 zomg I got a straight.
he leads 10 into 14 with 64 behind and 6 players to act, what is our action / plan?

my image to others at table : solid (he has not perceived that at all)

thx

I would probably raise to 25. I know no one has shown agression in this hand but there could be someone who slowplayed a big hand or hit a river miracle with 22 or something.

With this raise, I leave myself room to reevaluate if I get reraised by someone other than the fish.

The raise to 25 also accomplishes one other thing. When he is on complete air, he might actually reshove all in thinking he can bluff you out. Obviously, a good opponent would know that you are never bluffing here and that he has no fold equity with a stack of 64$. But the fish might make this kind of move here.

agree with above post, raise to 25 and if someone else 3bets, you can reeval, and if V 3bets/shoves, you can prob feel good getting it in

Why did you shove on the 99 hand?

I'd shove for his total amount (i.e. $74). It's the second time we've shoved on him, so he might look us up light. The other option is to minraise and hope he spazzes on us, but I'm too afraid he'll just call with a hand that would call a shove in this situation (such as a mega slowplayed 3x).

I'm not too worried about anyone else, although if we get 3bet by someone behind us we might be in a tricky spot (probably folding).

Grunch: raise whatever he happens to have. The odds of someone else suddenly charging something crazy are small and from your description he's calling with a lot worse. I doubt he'd resolve 2 pair. Don't miss value by not getting his entire stack. He's not deep so no problem. I someone else shoves on you it's a lot more meaningful and you can decide what to do.

I think raising the exact amount he has left is a little blatant, but I agree with the sentiment. I'd make it $50 with no real plan for the unlikely scenario where someone shoves. Just have to evaluate that on a case-by-case basis.

Raise his stack but fold if anyone else reraises
