Hero: ($150) Utg: 20, playing fairly tight but I don't think he was aware of it. Little live experience, but plenty online.
Villain: (175) Sb: late 20's. playing kinda loose passive, haven't seen him raise pre let alone 3bet. Seems like standard loose passive live player.
Hero opens QQ utg to 10 (I normally raise 12-13 but the table was fairly nitty so I raised it a little less). Everyone folds to Sb who 3bets to 20. I decide to flat due to him being fairly passive and raising an utg open. Flop comes 943 and I just call his cbet of about $23. Turn x and he bets and I shove.
I think I played it pretty bad but I'm curious on opinions. I feel like his range pre is pretty tight which includes AK, maybe 10s+, maybe AQ and I don't think he continues Ak or Aq on the turn. I don't have a lot experience with live poker so am I giving him too much credit for his range here. I'm fairly sure I am getting it in on that board texture regardless but I probably should of shoved flop, I am just curious of his range.
Thanks

so if he doesn't continue AK/AQ on the turn, then his range after his turn bet is TT/JJ/KK/AA, and you're exactly 50% against that range.
Personally, I would pull TT out of his 3bet range based on your description of him, and that puts you well behind instead of even.
My default 3bet range for live play unknowns is QQ+, sometimes AK, sometimes JJ.
If you can zero in on his range so this accurately, I'm not sure why you would "get it in regardless" on this board texture. The whole point of coming up with a range is so that we can compare it with our hand and make a better decision than "OMGIHAZOVERPURR-ARRRIN".
