2/2€ game at local casino. Sorry for my bad english.
SB (villain): 50ish bald white guy with big beard and many missing teeth. He's covering us (not by much) and playing LAG the last 20-30 hands, showing a stone cold bluff but also nutted hands.
UTG: 30ish morrocan dude who seems here to gamble. He has squeezed a few times all-in with a ~200€ stack, showing A8o and KJs.
Hero (CO): I'm a white guy in my mid 20s, playing mostly online. I'm sitting here on a ~500€ stack and playing tight.
UTG straddles 4€. Folds to me with J
9
. I decide to just call to see a flop in position.
SB raises to 26€ (standard for him), BB folds, UTG flats, I call.
Flop: J
9
Q
SB bets 80€, UTG folds. I call.
Turn: K
SB bets 180€. This card gives me a straight flush draw but I'm now losing to any T. I call for the odds.
River: Q
SB shoves quickly, says something like "I'm gonna continue the pressure". I sigh fold.
So obviously pretty bad runout for me. But do U think I played this hand too passively ? Maybe I should have raised pre or OTF. Pre I was worried about the straddle who could 3bet/shove very wide. How would you have played this hand ? Any tought process is welcome
. Thanks in advance !
