H - just sat down from broken game
V- Indian guy 30's headphones and glasses on, no reads though

7 handed 2/5 game

Eff stacks 1k

H in hj 69hh (the table is live and I'm gambling pre)
V on btn

H opens for 20
6 ways to flop

Flop(120) 782r
X's to h who bets 60, v on btn calls everyone else folds(if I'm playing 69hh pre this is a great flop imo so I'm obviously continuing as I would with op's and pretty much my entire range on the flop)

Turn(240) 9s puts fd on board
H bets 120, v calls( considering x back but really this is a good card for me, it obviously puts a straight on the board but I'm not overly concerned as its such a tiny part of v's potential range)

River(480) 2d
H x, v bets 250,
H?

When v bet the river he bet quite quickly, didn't seem to give too much thought to bet size

Is he really value betting T9 here?

Hard spot without reads but can't fault either move with an unknown. I might call here cause in a weird way you under replied your hand and you are new to him as well.

Second thought this is more of a fold and could go either way here.

Feels like there are a lot of 10s and Js in his range here as over pairs that he wouldn't 3 bet you with, in addition to random crap like A9/K9/10xJx.

This is a grumble fold. V called a 1/2 pot raise on the turn. I don't think he is carrying a lot of bluffs on the river.

X/c turn, x/f river. You were six ways to the flop, you have TP **** kicker which is not worth 3 streets of value imo. You have a bluffcatcher OTT. You don't have reads that this guy calls light, floats two streets and then bluffs the river half pot.

Fold pre

Bigger on flop.

X/C turn. As played bigger on turn if you're going to bet. Also if you're betting turn it's a bluff.

As played x/f river. 2nd best is jam river as a bluff

Why would you x/c turn, and not x/c river? Your hand is not getting better here unless you pull another 9 out of the deck, and it's a draw heavy board. I would have folded turn on the bet unless I was committed to hero calling any card that was lower than a 9 on the river that didn't complete the flush draw, and on a blind read, I am folding turn more often than not.

As played, fold is still correct on the river, but it just means the turn call was -EV
