Yeah, I think I've leveled myself into thinking these kinds of opponents are super strong when leading, and have been proven wrong most of the time when it gets to showdown.
We mostly live by two rules at low stakes: 1) Get value 2) Don't pay off the fish. For a while I assumed that these types of bets were an attempt by the loose passives to get value (why else would they deviate from their passive tendencies?), and I left a lot of money on the table in doing so. No longer!
