We evaluate each decision as it comes to us. This hand was played fine up to this point IMO. If we hit a monster that's not the nuts in a limped pot, but it's profitable to GII against V's range and we just happen to run into the top of their range that beats us, that sucks, but we played right.
And on that note, just plug a range of all 2pair+ hands into stove, and see what kind of equity we have. You can discount some AA/KK combos if you want. Maybe discount K9 a bit too. But A7 and K7 are both reasonable hands. If it's close, I'd call it off.
