V: older whale type. Usually only plays PLO. Very splashy. Tough to play against honestly

H: I’m the effective stack with like 300

Two limps I raise AJhh I’m cutoff to 18 v calls SB one limper calls

(60) Flop: AcKd2h

He bets 50 limper folds I call? Seems standard I guess to call here

Turn 9d he jams for like 220

I think call call is fine. I'm mostly scared of A2 and A9 but this is probably the bottom of my calling range here so I eat it not loving it.

Also ask him if he knows combinatorics. He might have QQ trying to get you off your Ace.

From Sb V has donked and unless he’s a maniac we have to put him on two pair minimum and I wouldn’t rule out 22. I can find a fold here unless Hero’s image is very loose. We can call it an exploitation fold if we want to be cool

I actually think preflop is really tricky. We still have 3 players left to react that could wake up with a hand that will guarantee this multiway / bloated (one of whom could even end up in position). A big raise here will often create a small committed SPR spot, and yet one that we feel very uncomfortably committed (especially with Ace TP which is so easily dominated to a big raise). A small raise (say 3x) will create a much more manageable SPR multiway, but it will usually end up so multiway that we'll have little FE at any point. So I actually don't think overlimping is as bad as no doubt everyone else will make it out to be (our hand plays super fine in position in a high SPR pot). I'll be outvoted by a huge margin on that.

Don't see what else we can do but call the flop. But I'm absolutely hating life at this moment.

I probably fold the turn. I mean you could argue that preflop has set up commitment, and on a drawy board I think I'd argue that. But there's simply no draws for him to be pushing.

ETA: My overall thinking on preflop is that we will very rarely make a hand with AJs where we are comfortable playing for stacks postflop, and yet a preflop raise will put stacks in play almost always (so are why are we doing that?).
