V (OWM ~350) in this hand is loose and somewhat aggressive, although more in a bad bluffy way than in a good way. Not passive, will bet draws, made hands, and bluffs. He blasted off 300+ in a recent hand w/ AA against what was the most obvious set in the history of sets.

OTTH:

2 limps to Hero (~300) in CO w/ 45, hero limps, btn calls, bb chks, 5 ways to flop. V and H cover.

Flop (~15) Q45
Checks to Hero, bets 15. Button call 15. V utg raise 45. H calls 45?? Button folds. I'm not too afraid of much here since I block sets of 4s & 5s, leaving him raising w/ Qs or a flush draw or 67. Should I have raised? I've been burned a lot over the years w/ bottom 2 pairs.

Turn (~120) 7 Check, check. Still lots of danger, but I played it conservatively. I could easily play a flush or straight draw like this to get the free card and induce a river bet thinking he is good. Thoughts?

River (~120) 4 Bingo! V check, Hero bets 55 for value - too small? I don't think I had the exact pot size in my head when I bet (thought it was smaller), so I think made a mistake here. Seems like it should have be ~ 65-75.

V called and mucked. I assume a Q.

Thoughts all around?

Don't include results.

Preflop I prefer raising to over limping, but overlimping can't be that bad. Would prefer overlimping more if we were OTB, but still would prefer raising overall.

As played on flop I 3bet/gii. You already stated what I'm thinking in regards to UTG's range.

As played on turn I bet.

As played on river bet bigger. Rep that missed draw.

River as played is a great spot to bet like $175 or something. Your range should have a lot of whiffed draws so you need to bet big.

I would bet slightly smaller on the flop (although $15 is fine too) and 3-bet the raise. There's a player behind you that you don't want to give odds to call. Make it something like $115. I THINK you can fold to a 4 bet jam on the flop since he never has worse then bottom two at that point.

Too many combo draws to fold if UTG jams after we 3bet, especially with the price we'll be getting. Also there's a chance he lol-played KK+ (which I've seen a lot at 1/2) or is just getting it in with AQ. Not to mention we block 4s and 5s. If we gii and he has QQ then nh

Tough to say, and in the moment, I might call too. We don't have a good idea of how he played the AA hand OP mentions. My thoughts are that after his raise and getting 3-bet that he won't slam it in with combo draws or KK+/AQ. He'll just call and cry call all in on the turn.
