V (OWM ~350) in this hand is loose and somewhat aggressive, although more in a bad bluffy way than in a good way. Not passive, will bet draws, made hands, and bluffs. He blasted off 300+ in a recent hand w/ AA against what was the most obvious set in the history of sets.
OTTH:
2 limps to Hero (~300) in CO w/ 45
, hero limps, btn calls, bb chks, 5 ways to flop. V and H cover.
Flop (~15) Q45
Checks to Hero, bets 15. Button call 15. V utg raise 45. H calls 45?? Button folds. I'm not too afraid of much here since I block sets of 4s & 5s, leaving him raising w/ Qs or a flush draw or 67. Should I have raised? I've been burned a lot over the years w/ bottom 2 pairs.
Turn (~120) 7 Check, check. Still lots of danger, but I played it conservatively. I could easily play a flush or straight draw like this to get the free card and induce a river bet thinking he is good. Thoughts?
River (~120) 4 Bingo! V check, Hero bets 55 for value - too small? I don't think I had the exact pot size in my head when I bet (thought it was smaller), so I think made a mistake here. Seems like it should have be ~ 65-75.
V called and mucked. I assume a Q.
Thoughts all around?
