I like shoving pre given player descriptions. Cold calling the 3 bet is essentially set mining with bad IO.

Now we're in a weird situation on the flop. I still shove here. An OP would've almost certainly c bet. I would think CO's range is primarily middle pocket pairs, but would expect 99 to check given SPR makes it easy to still gii with a flop check.

I doubt we should be flatting for 14% of our stack preflop. I think I mostly just fold, in spite of active raiser and position. Otherwise, I'd jam with this huge dead money in the pot (and would be more comfortable with this if we've seen 3bettor been doing a lotta 3betting, especially over non-EP opens).

As played, I probably nit fold the fold and give CO some credit betting into 3 opponents. This is simply a higher pocket pair most of the time (or at the very least a hand that has really good equity against us like AKdd or something). ETA: Missed that the flop bet was so small, which may more indicate a middling pair just seeing if it's good, so I'm cooler with continuing.

This is all you need to know to fold.

We didn't get flop our set, I'd let it go vs a CO who cold called pre then leads out flop.

Edit: I'm also not a fan of the 3b pre, but don't hate it.

Easy money

How often would we expect LJ to check raise? The flop?
