Hero young WTAG haven't won too many pots but doubled up with a made flush on the river. Been card dead for a few hours so my image is very tight, not very fun, got coolered a couple of times with sets losing to straights and so on.
Stack 250$

Villian middle aged Asian male has been playing also pretty tight ran up his stack from 150 to about 500 in a couple of hours. The hands he won at showdown he was always ahead and doesn't look lIke he bluffs a lot. Doesn't seems to be bluffing a lot

OTTH

Hero sb with 32os I know it's garbage but only one player limped to me so I just competed.

Villian is in the bb and he completed as well.

Board comes 33Q r I check Villian checks and the other player checks(can't remember position)

Just sb vs bb now
The turn comes a 10
I check Villian bets 15, I raise to 35 and Villian reraised to 125$ !?
I am very confused at this point and regret not folding Pre anyway.
In my head everyone here is telling me don't go broke in a limped pot.
I fold and show and he just mucks after winning the pot.
Is this just awful all in all in general? Do you call here?
Should I just flat the turn if I have no idea what to do when 4 bet?

Since it was limped to him I am thinking he might be slow playing 1010 or something like that. Maybe he has something like Q3 or 10 3.

There being only 1 limp in front is actually less reason to play this pot. With a bunch of limps you can limp in and hope for a 332 or 145 flop and expect to have a good chance of winning a big pot when you do hit. With only one player if you want to play you need to raise preflop and try to steal it. Generally just fold though.

Villain checked his BB so he can have just about anything. When he 3 bets the turn the only legitimate hand you beat is QT, you lose to all of the 3X. You also lose to QQ and TT but those should have raised preflop.

Villain should have few bluffs in his range but it is possible after you min raise the turn that he is reraising then to find out if you are serious or not. Highly unlikely, particularly with his raise size.

Think you did the best thing by folding. Showing him your hand was a mistake though. Unless villain offers to show you his hand also, never show a tight fold with a strong hand. It just encourages villains to bluff you. Show your air and nuts if you feel you need to show something.

I would fold preflop. There's only one limper plus the BB in the hand, so we need to (a) make our hand and (b) have one of only 2 opponents also make a hand they are willing to lose a lotta money on (this ain't gonna happen nearly enough). Plus this hand has sucky RIO. Depending on limper's tendencies, I might actually prefer a raise to a call here to just steal things preflop / with a flop cbet.

Unless opponents are very stabby / bluffy, I just bet/bet/bet this flop and re-evaluate if raised.

As played, I just bet the turn and hope for the best (noting that now some straight draws might pay off).

I'd also sigh fold to the 3bet on the turn.

pre-flop is a fold. Want to fix a leak? It's right there.

You know the position people play the worst? It's SB. Way too many people completing hands they should be folding.

Even more devastating in a 1/3 NL game (as opposed to a 1/2 NL game) where we are simply tossing in far too much to complete a junk hand.

Makes sense to fold Pre. Thanks for the input!

Fold Pre, if you had 32s and 5 limpers maybe a complete is in order, but not in this situation.

I don't mind the flop check. but I am definitely leading the turn
