UTG+1 $10, Fish call MP, Hero CO 86 ($400 eff)

Hero has 1,000 but eff stacks is ~400. Hero has been playing tight so far. UTG just arrived at table but seems snug. We have been raising 12-15 before this and this raise is pretty small.

Call - Squeeze - Fold

I would fold. We're not closing action, there's only 2 other people in the hand so far, and UTG+1 seems snug. This is probably the main reason to fold (and def. not squeeze) not to mention we have pretty much dog crap of a hand.

Absent any other information this favors fold but you could venture a call or squeeze occasionally. The raise is not big but against an unknown EP raise you really don't know where you stand. Depending on villain this could be OK or terrible.

Don't like the squeeze here, not enough callers to make it really juicy, and no sense that our UTG raiser is light.

I'm OK with a call if there's been very little 3-betting, especially if BTN is folding a lot giving us position for the rest of the hand. On an aggressive table this is a fold because we can't stand a 3-bet.

Vpips 60%. Stacked off for 300 bbs K2ss on K25hhh 7c 10s. By bet/calling flop, check/calling turn and snap jamming river

Fishy caller makes me like a squeeze less and a flat more. Very possible he still calls our squeeze, and nice to have position and a fish in the hand if we smash flop.

How deep is fish? If fish is deep then I like calling to target fish rather then original raiser. Stationary fish makes squeezing even less appealing.

Yeah I'd much rather just play a flop IP with this guy and hope to make something decent and get him to station off then.

I want to have deeper effective stacks to consider 3b'ing 86s here so that I can actually barrel decent runouts and have more room postflop. Maybe with +1 more caller pre I'd be more onboard with the 3b from the CO but atm not enough $ in the pot to warrant it imo.

I agree I think its more of a flat pre. Dont like folding due to whale in hand. Thanks for feedback.

Spoiler:
I did end up making it $40 and both called.

I'd probably just flat. It's a super small raise and stacks are deep, we'll most likely end up in position, a fish is trapped in the hand, etc. We seem fairly readless (no?) on the opener, so part of me still wants to respect the EP raise (even if it is small) and would obviously hate to get 4bet.

The snuggier the raiser is, the easier the call is, imo. (i.e. the better chance he simply has a big overpair, which plays horrible for deep stacks against a hand like ours which is also super easy to play postflop)

With the Button/SB/BB behind us we could argue for a fold if any of these guys is likely to go after a weak raise and some weak looking callers. But if these guys ain't aggro, I'm willing to attempt to get into a pot for relatively cheap here (especially with the fish involved).
