I would personally bet again here, maybe he's calling with ACE hearts.. He could have flush but seems could be missing value without a bet if he has a king or something?

I usually go $85 (or more vs stations) on turn so we can shove river. Does he really fold a King, Ah to this sizing?

As played, quickly shove to make it look like a bluff, or go 1/3-1/2PSB to for sure get called by a King.

I'm cool with preflop although I know others will like raising better.

I think we usually have to go broke in an SPR 6 pot with middle set. So I would plan on doing that as soon as possible. No reason not to simply PSB the flop as A is never folding to a single bet, so might as well make it as big as possible for instant value.

I'd probably bet more on the turn, like 3/4 PSB.

On the river we still only have not even 3/4 PSB left and we have middle set. Even though it's unlikely Villain should have two pair here (apart from KJ), I still think we get paid off by worse (22) and Kx might make a hero call putting us on the barrelled busted flush draw. I shove.

I'm usually check-calling this river if I think my opponent is capable of betting busted draws.

why? I suspect we get more value from calls than trapped bets from busted draws but maybe you've counted otherwise

Guess it comes down to whether we think this guy can possibly be on a draw. He is getting a "relatively" ok 3:1 to make the turn call, but if he's remotely competent he should also realize he has little IO plus some of his outs are most likely no good. I'm guessing the only flush draw he's likely to show up with here is with Kx which he'll probably check back (losing us a bunch of value).

Turn is a brick and we should bet in order to set up a push on any non-heart river, $80 makes it $290 in the pot if called so $170 behind for an easy jam. Maybe make it more like $90 to exploit bad drawing decisions.

I think plenty of 1/3 players call flop and turn with just the A

Bigger on turn, shove river. Set vs flopped flush is a cooler IMO.

As others have said, bigger on turn and shove river.
