I would never think about folding here for only $50 and unless I had a soul read, I would never just call either. On the turn, you probably told yourself "5h on the river one time..."
If he is as bad as you say, he is never folding a flush. I would have happily shoved and been scooping a big pot AT LEAST 2/3 of the time.
