I bet slightly larger on the flop multiways. I'd like this bet more if it were HU and we had more bluffs in our range, but since we're never bluffing 5ways, we might as well size up for value.

Turn needs to be sized up too. Jx isn't folding for less than $100.

River is an easy value bet. Tough to run into a straight here.

What range do you put him on that has you considering check-folding the river?
Jx plus the range that beats me such as two pairs, sets, 3x and maybe 87s with backdoor flush. After reading comments and rethinking my line, I realize that x/f is criminal here, and that I should have bet bigger on the turn.

As for the many people ITT saying bet bigger on the flop cause it's multiway...why? To protect I'm assuming? OK so we get random 10% equity hands to fold. How is that good for us?

For the guy who mentioned the "Doug Polk GTO range balancing nonsense", thanks for making me chuckle . But according to Upswing, you definitely should cbet smaller in multi-way pots.

this may not happen at 1/3 but as you move up in stakes good players are going to start exploiting your small flop bets by raising you in position with hands like bdfd's/bdsd's/air and barrelling you ott/otr, where you'll likely end up having to fold the best hand on connected runouts like the one in your example.
