I'm fine with preflop.

I would mostly bet the flop. Our hand could still easily be best but it is very vulnerable to overcards (I'd more consider checking back AA here than TT). We can easily get called by worse (board is drawy). We can set our price that will typically get us to the river.

As played I'm also betting the turn (likely a little more since since our bet now looks more FOS / whiffed AK).

Next time don't show river results (stop action at "Hero bets") as it will taint responses. I think I'm fine with it as Qx will typically bet the turn once the flop checks thru and JJ+ will typically raise/reraise preflop. So as long as this guy won't turn a busted draw into a sick check/raise on the river, I think we can safely go for some value against small pairs against our whiffed AK (one of the benefits to checking back the flop).

It's not thin.

Looks good but I probably bet like $5 larger on the turn and $5 smaller on the river vs the respective pot sizes.

I guess it's fine but I don't actually see much you get paid off on the river so I may even check back the river if I played the hand this way.

However, I'm betting flop all day with this hand and then betting turn and probably checking river because you get value from draws this way.

Don't we get more value off a hand like KJ or AT by checking back the flop and giving them an opportunity to bluff future streets?

I think TT is right in the middle in terms of vulnerability, and maybe needs less protection especially with the Th

I would much rather bet a hand like 6c6s for protection...

AP, check back river...99 is really the only hand that might call since guys floating and heroing with A hi is really unlikely here at 1/3.

Yeah, I don't disagree and it's mainly a sliding scale thingy. On one end we have hands like AA which we can often check, on the other end hands like 66 which we can often bet, whereas hands like TT are admittedly sorta in the middle, although for me they are weighted slightly more to the often bet side of things.

I think one of the biggest benefits of checking this back on the flop is that now we rep a whiffed AK and could get bluffcatched. Although admittedly this double paired board eliminates hands like 44- from bluffcatching, so it does become slightly thinner (targetting a thinner range of A high and 99/77/66 but those hands are very plausible).
