Call. But I really would have liked a raise on the turn to $~130.

I am really getting in line with raising the turn and feel like that would have been best line.

Do we ever just fold river?

How about raising to $200 and folding to a jam?

Sudden turn aggression is always alarming. I’d prefer r/f on turn to doing anything fancy on river.

AP: I’m probably folding rather than trying to blow this guy off his two pair or binked set of 88. He’s made a value bet not a post oak bluff. He’s already shown down light.

Agree that a big river move as played wouldn’t be great.

I just overlimp after a couple of limpers, but we managed to get things HU in position with a manageable SPR, so ok I guess.

I also cbet the flop but I don't think there is any reason to bet so much (calling frequency between different reasonable bet sizes is unlikely to change at all). I'd bet a 1/2 PSB and then decide on the turn whether to bet one more time or get to showdown.

This guy is loose and gambooley, but is he bluffy? My guess is he's more just splashing around trying to hit his hand and then get paid off when he does? I probably sigh call the turn, although we have horrible RIO against some hands.

Pretty read dependent, but even though the draws busted I mostly fold the river unless this guy is barrel bluffy.

ETA: In general, the call preflop / call flop / donk turn line is a pretty strong one against a preflop raiser, at least ime. So I don't like the idea of raising the turn in general. I like it even less if there is a good chance it blows us off our outs (i.e. I think I'd rather raise the turn with a hand that has little equity / showdown value if we think this guy can be donking weak).

Pre and flop are fine. The place to raise was the turn. He's setting his price with a T or some weird draw. As played, I can go either way. It should probably be a fold, but I'm sure I'd end up calling just to see it.

Agree with everyone.

Raise the turn. V's lead on the turn looks weak, and we can continue the story that we have an overpair or better.

As played, I would just fold the river.
