V1 ($180) - SB - Young white male. Playing tight and aggressive pre, but seems to frequently overvalue his hands post. On turn and river, value bets and calls when he shouldn't. Wearing sunglasses at 1/3. (LOL!) I have seen him before, but he may have come from the tournament that broke up an hour ago.

V2 ($120) -BB - old Japanese man playing ABC.
V3 ($110) - UTG - OWG playing super tight passive. Probably trappy.
V4 ($140) - CO - super tight passive MAW. Definitely trappy.

Hero ($350) - Button - 40 year old white guy raising the better mid connectors and suited gappers pre as well as premium hands. With air, barrelling 70% of flops and half of turns. Recently got caught turning an underpair into a bluff on the river. Current image is loose, aggressive, and dirty.

Pre: UTG limps (this could be strong), CO limps, Hero limps Q10 from the button. SB & BB complete.

Flop ($14): 982

Everyone checks to hero who bets $10. V1, UTG, and CO call. (They think I am FOS, don't mind the small calls, but this is not what I expected.) BB folded.

Turn ($52): 5

Everyone checks to Hero. Hero?

Fold or raise pre.

Flop is fine I guess.

don't barrel turn. Every draw got there but yours.

Hero should pray. Will any of your free outs be good? Prolly not.

I'm cool with the overlimp. After two limps it's probably going to be difficult to thin the field, someone might be sandbagging aggro us, and I'm not exactly thrilled about raising with these small stack sizes, getting called by a dominating hand, and then flopping TP (where we'll probably feel committed). Let's overlimp and ~nutmine / play in position, imo.

I would probably check back the flop. We're just never ever going to take this down 5ways, it's too drawy, someone is going to call, and then what on the turn? Plus it's aggro/bluffy us (i.e. we should have little FE at this point). Plus we don't really know how many of our outs are good. If I *was* going to bet this, I think it would be more for taking a free card on the turn if everyone will let me get away with that, and I would want to make things as cheap as possible, so I would bet $5 (which may look trappy so it might not get played back at). But I think I'd rather just take the free card now.

I would check the turn. Two of the most obvious draws just got there (flush draw and 76) and we're in a 4way pot with a bad image for FE. If I hit TP on the river, I would probably fold to any reasonable bet, and not even sure I would bet it if checked to. If I hit the gutshot on the river, I probably call a reasonable bet and bet/fold if checked to.

I don't like betting air into a five way pot either, but does anyone else have a hard time seeing the tight players limping strong made hands on this multi-way, two tone flop where there was no pfr?

Raise to 50 to get value from J, two pair or worse straights. Fold if re-raised.

So this guy has 2x PSB left? I definitely wouldn't feel committed against him for stacks by putting in a raise then. His bet into the world is strong, but it's also such a small bet and no one bet the flush on the turn. We'll probably get called by sets / two pairs / worse straights especially with our aggro image, and I just don't see this guy shoving over top without the nuts (so we can safely fold to reraise). I would probably raise to $45 and fold to a reraise.

I mean, his bet here is almost so small that we can treat it as a check, imo (and we'd definitely be betting the river for value if it checked to us).

Hero raises V's river to $55. Villain pops it $110. Before I folded, I asked V if he had the flush.

After I folded, he asked me "what flush?" I didn't believe him until he got into a short debate about this with the guy on the other side of him. Then he decided to play the rest of the session with the sunglasses off.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Good check on Turn. Not much to lean on here, you are pretty much beat by anything that calls except 'maybe' AdXx but I dont see that from this crowd.

Yes r/f River to $40 ... GL
