Re: 1/3 QQ OOP in 3bet pot, all the Aces hit

Results: Hero probably took the worst line from the turn spot, and c/c the turn only to c/f to the river shove. V showed 99.

In retrospect, (and kind of what I wanted to generate discussion on here) was V's talk about picking one card to see, and then changing his mind. If I had thought more about it, V saying "pick one" to show means that he wouldn't care which one flipped up. In this spot, that should basically eliminate any Ax hand besides AA, since he wouldn't chance us seeing the Ace. It probably means he has a pair in this spot, and he changed his mind because he realized that (regardless of what pair he actually has from like 99-JJ), if he turns one of those up, we are going to call because it's so inconceivable he would take this line with A9/AT/AJ, so we can figure his hand exactly.

You're giving your Villain far too much credit for doing this multilevel thinking in real time at the table. Again, I would totally ignore this stuff, and instead make our decisions soley based on opponent / how the hand played out, with the key for me being that I just think Ax always checks behind this flop.
