V1 is older indian fellow who is pretty lol bad, V2 is a semi-competent reg but in that mid-30s simply not stupid sort of way. Effective stacks around 480, except v1 who had around 250.

Hero is CO, game is late and shorthanded (prob 6 dealt in this hand) with Kc9x

Hero raises to 15, V1 in sb calls, V2 in bb calls.

Flop 7c7h9c

V1 donks for 25, v2 calls, hero raises to 75, v1 folds, v2 raises to 150????

Hero?????

Pretty easy fold unless your "lol bad" villain loves to bluff on paired boards, or he semibluffs draws like crazy. Minus those reads, a check raise is usually strength at these stakes even from bad players. Do you have more specific reads? What sort of mistakes does he make?

Without a more specific read, I'm ranging him on overpairs, 7s, and the unlikely case 9s. I think most lol bad villains would call, not reraise, Q9- here. I think the same about flush/straight draws. The proper time to stack this guy is when you have an overpair or (better) trips with a good kicker.

If the button to your left is tight then I think the preflop raise is marginal, but I wouldn't criticize it too strongly. If he calls a lot then I hate it, but I'm assuming this wasn't the case.

v2 is the villain in question here, not lol-bad guy

What were you trying to accomplish by raising this flop?
What was your plan if villain 3-bets?

Preflop is fine. K9o is an OK hand in LP short handed unless villains are really loose preflop.

Flop raise is a bit odd. Fold to the reraise unless there is some weird history between you and V2. The only thing V2 is likely to do this with that doesn't have you crushed is a combo draw.

Pretty standard fold on the flop to the 3bet.

We are flipping bs hisXXcc range. We are flipping with his 9x range (Q9-A9) and we are destroyed vs his 7x range, and beat up pretty good vs the TT/JJ part of his range.

If we call here we are playing for stacks with one pair on a paired board, without even TP/TK. Against a not drooling semi-competent reg this is a bad plan.

Fold.

2 outs to chop and 3 to win does not seem like a flip to me, albeit I agree flop is definitely a fold. Were simply not ahead of hardly any of his 3! range.

EDIT: Unless your saying its a flip because he either has A9 or Q9 then its a wash...if so my bad haha

I'm cool with preflop.

I'm a lot closer to folding the flop than I am raising. I probably just take the inbetween route and call as we'll be in position and hopefully be able to figure out what is going on based on the turn card and action (where I'm guessing most players will be playing fairly honestly here in a 3way pot). As played, super easy fold; solid V2 either has us crushed (7x, overpair, etc.) or has a monster draw (which is also doing well against us); I mean, I just don't see a case where we get our money in where we are actually doing well against him, do you?

Oops, misread it. Makes the fold even easier of course.

I raised because v1 will call me with worse, and v2 will fold a lot of draws when I raise there. i folded to 150 and he showed me 5c6c. I was really just curious how big of a part of his range this is. Never really saw myself continuing, sometimes I just feel like i'll have a very backwards range for someone, especially these not so regular reg types (ie a reg that i don't actually see that often)

Meh, don't sweat it, imo. 65cc is probably like the very bottom of his range, and yet it's still only a 3:2 dog.

this is pretty much where my head was/is at, just kinda doing my routine "check the water in 1/3" maintenance.
