10/25 SRD game in Paramaribo (equivalent 1/3 USD). 5 handed, Mississippi straddle of 50, I limp in the SB with KT, BB folds, UTG folds, CO limps, BU makes it 150, I call, CO calls.

Flop (475): 357, effective stacks ~2000. I check, CO checks, BU bets 400.
With such a big bet, a player left to act and being out of position, I don't think a call is very good here. A shove would look very strong (I think) and put CO in a spot where he can pretty much only stack off with 2 pair +. Also if BU cbet with bare overcards, he probably needs to fold (maybe some 78 type hand too?), while he is likely ahead of my hand. When called my equity is almost always decent-good.

Standard stack off when adding up equity + fold equity? Yes I know I'm gamb0ling a bit pre so I might as well shove even if it's not too profitable. I guess it's somewhat close anyway, but a mistake in a 200bb pot is obviously worse than a mistake preflop.

What else do you know about the Button? Does he do a lot of raising on his button with ATC or is his raising range pretty tight?

The reason I ask is, with it being 5 handed, id lean to raising preflop, and grabbing control of the hand right away. Then on that board, leading out for 2/3rds psb depending on number of callers.

Also, if you raise and then check flop, and button bets, a check raise looks even stronger.

As played, I like the check raise shove. Calling too weak IMO. However it does look super flush drawy, or 7-6, 5-6 so expect to get called a lot more often leading it to be very high variance.

Reads on V's?

I don't like the limp with KTs and a button straddle, even five handed. Raise or fold for me.

Yeah, with 1275 in the pot when we call and 1350 back, I'm shipping it here.

Real question is would you play a 2p+ this way as well and if not does button know this? Otherwise he will range you mostly on flush draws and call getting ~2-1. I actually might prefer a lead/shove than a CR/shove....looks stronger, but not sure stax work for this.

I guess overall it is ok although I would have liked our draw to be a nut draw to be safe.
