Dynamics: Nothing major of note. Only been at table for about an hour. I know two of the players (both competent, but not great) in this hand from awhile back. Hero is rusty, but used to play combo of live 1/2 and 2/5 at this room. Know many people. Biggest fish at the table is directly on my right.

Hero: Early 30s male. ~$260. Has been the main aggressor at the table since he sat down. Has been active for the past hour at least raising 2-3 hands per orbit. Been getting hit with the deck. Has only shown down a few hands though. They’ve both been top pair hands.

Villain: (also as described fish above) falls in love with tpgk. Saw him get AI for 40bb w/ K6dd on KJ5hh after calling a pre-flop raise for $20.

Fist pump, or wait for better?

Villain UTG. Hero in UTG+1. Villain limps, Hero raises to $20 with QJ. HJ, CO, BTN, big blind and villain call. 6-way flop.

Flop: Q36 ($121)

Big blind checks, Villain takes 15 secs, and jams $114 all-in. Only btn and big blind cover hero, however, those are the two players I see as competent.

Hero?

Honestly I would most likely fold. Yes you might have V beat, but with two players behind you could possibly be crushed atm. In addition you really do not have any draws to help you out besides potentially the jacks. I would wait for a better spot.

Fold. You have 4 players behind you, counting BB as he should be checking everything 6 ways here. HU or 3 ways probably call it off with this hand and hope he’s doing this with every queen in his range and all suited combos of 45.

Even competent players will typically have all the combos of AQ, KQ here at this level. Occasionally someone will have 63ss, and a fishy villain could basically have all the suited combos of two pair here.

I’d start calling at AQ+ but I’m not loving it 6 ways.

Preflop result is so yawn standard that I don't understand the point of it. Our hand plays much better in a high SPR pot (not a lol ~2 pot eleventeen ways OOP), so if we must play it just limp, imo; but I think it's too early be profitable, so I fold.

Preflop has setup a stoopid spot where there's a pretty good chance we make a big error in a big pot. If it was HU against the Villain, we'd have a snap call. But with eleventeen players still to act behind us, and an EP raise often narrowing TP hands to mostly better, it's a dumb spot.

With this hand from UTG+1, I agree with a limp. Hand plays well multi-way, and we never know if we are good if a Q or J hits.

As played, I either jam or fold, but fold and wait is probably better.
