260 effective stacks button straddle 6 I’m HJ

V1 lj seems passive likes to limp a lot and raise folded a river for like 7:1 pot odds one orbit ago on a T7j87 board

V2 BN seems like a gambly 30s Asian as evidenced by straddle only been here for 30 mins

Sb call Lj call I 30 kckd lj and bn call

Flop (92) 9s 5s 3c x 50 call call

Turn (242) 2s V1 checks and it’s on me

Wow that's gross. I think we check and try to get to a cheap showdown, possibly put in a small value bet on the river. With the Ks, I could fancy a shove, but not when we could potentially be drawing dead.

I checked back here thinking if I shove I’m folding out everything worse and v2 has plenty of flushes to snap me off. However not sure I shouldn’t just shove anyway because spr was so low.

V2 checked

River Ac: v1 checked and action on me

LOL this runout keeps getting worse. At least it wasn't the As. I check again, intending to check/fold to any reasonably sized bet. If V2 tries to buy it for something small, say like $75 or less, and V1 folds, I might look him up and hope to be shown 98 or 76 or whatever he can have as a bluff.

I'm fine with preflop as we got in huge 12% of our stack and can now just simply commit with an overpair postflop.

SPR is 2.5, we've flopped an overpair, board is drawy, and we're up against loose players. At minimum I'm doing a PSB to shove any turn, although with this stack/pot size you could also argue for an open shove. Can't stand our small 1/2 PSB; this is really poor sizing in this spot, imo.

With only a 3/4 PSB left on the turn I think we're just forced to sigh shove and live with results. But this really goes back to our flop sizing; don't give good odds when committed on drawy boards when it is unlikley we'll be able to fold even if a sucky card comes.

It's like you tried your best to make your HH as unreadable as possible, do you realise that?

Check turn. I would check the river as well. At first I figured a small valuebet would be kind of nice, since I thought the A was basically a blank, but on second thought there could still be "a lot of" wheel aces in their ranges, next to their aces up, and there's probably no value to be gained anyway. So yeah, check and win against random pairs.

just ship turn, there's only 2/3 psb left and even worse hands can call. not close imo, i think it's a snap shove albeit a sigh one. plus you have a ton of perceived As bluffs here, so you aren't getting exclusively called by better.... I suspect a lot of worse hands will call.

river is obv check
