Hero: $750 - Upper 20's. Have a LAG image in this session.
Villain: $550 -Low 40s. TAG. Tight pre-flop raising range. limps all his medium
strength hands / suited connectors. Post flop pretty decent. Seems like the type who reads a lot of books.
Button: $120 (loose - passive)

Preflop: Villain opens to $13 in MP, button calls, I am in SB with KK and make it $60. Villain calls, button folds.

I was in the SB earlier in this same spot (diff opponents) and made it $60 with A5 and took it down PF. The 5 accidentally flipped when I went to fold.

Flop: ($135) 953
Hero bets $80, Villain calls pretty quickly.

Turn: ($295) J
Hero checks, Villain tanks and bets $175 (about $250 behind), Hero ???

After the flop call, I had villain on hands like 99-KK, AQdd+ and maybe once in a while he would float me here (mostly with AJ+). Obviously against most of that range, the turn card is terrible.

Do you guys prefer a bet / fold line on the turn? I was worried he might turn his AJ+ float hands into a bluff by shoving the turn if I bet.

As played what do you do after he bets the turn? I figure the only value hands I beat now are QQ and AJx (don't know if he would even call my 3-bet with that PF)

Thanks,

I would have made it more like 40$ preflop to be honest.

It's a gross line on the turn, I'd probably lay it down. Looks like AA or a flush, possibly even a set of jacks. Unless he thought you had AK and shut down on the turn after checking to him.. tough spot.

I don't think you beat any of his value hands. Maybe like QQ with a diamond but idk seems far fetched. I think you are beat a large part of the time in this spot

Meh just fold. No good river cards at all, and you are oop.

Don't mind 3bet sizing pre being oop at all. You might be losing a bit of value by folding out too many hands, but better than making the reverse mistake and 3betting too small like 30 or 35. Taking it down preflop is not the worst outcome at all when having this hand in the blinds.
Flop bet is too small, would make it 100 to go.
Turn should be a b/f. The check confuses everything as he could have you crushed, be bluffing, or think he is ahead with the worst hand like QQ or TT with a diamond. If you call you have to call all non-diamond rivers. I'd probably stack off

Edit: On second thought turn is never a b/f as stacks aren't deep enough for that. So probably b/c turn.
