Hero 285. Very active only bc been getting great starting hands. Probably appear very lag if they even notice. V-1 60s white guy. Played with several times and loves calling me down light. Always thinking I am stealing but tonight seems extra tight. On 3rd 100 buy in. I limp with a5 in co behind 3 limpets and both blinds come along. Flop is ak5 check to me and I make it 22 only v-1 calls. Turn is j v checks and I bet 42. Villian goes all in for 128. Hero should?????

Call. If he thinks you are stealing alot he could have a ton of combo draws here and you're also ahead of KJ.

You really only fear QTspades, 55(you block this) and AJ(would he raise this pf?)

Aj is what I was scared of bc I could see him limping with this hand from early position

How has he been losing all his BIs (spew vs standard)? What position is he in (i.e. in early position he can have AA/KK whereas in LP this is much less likely)? Can he get aggro with draws (a lot of typical opponents don't)?

In general, a check/raise shove on a big street typically means TP can be beat, and our hand doesn't beat all that many hands that can beat TP (realistically only KJ unless he's super loose). But also really depends on answers to questions above.

But the winners must be showing hands that beat him; are the winners showing monsters (and maybe he's being coolered with second monsters) or are the winners simply showing one pair (which he can't beat)? And is he being the aggressor in pots he doesn't win (like in this hand), or just passively calling it off and losing?

These are things you should try to be paying attention to in order to help you solidify your reads.
