Hero: $500 been playing for four hours and has solid image. Taken down lots of pots without too much showdown, but has shown solid hands.
Villain: $600 has been playing similar game and has shown up with solid hands throughout the game.

Villain is UTG and raises to $10. (six handed)
Hero re-raises to $25 from CO with KQ.
Villain calls.

Flop is Q7J, with two diamonds and a heart.

Villain leads for $35
Hero calls

Turn is 9

Villain leads for $80
Hero calls

River is 8

Villain bets $200
Hero?

Hero can't beat much. Did hero play any of the streets wrong? Is it just a fold on the river or is that too tight?

First:
Please try and keep the order of action correct. V must have checked the flop if you are betting first. These small things can make a difference.

Pre flop 3bet is meh. I don't play a lot of 6max, but I feel like his opening range UTG is likely too tight to be 3betting here for value. And once we are called, we aren't doing so well against his calling range.

Flop bet is fine.

Turn is I guess is ok.
River is pretty pukeish and I just fold.

oops, I changed it, villain did all of the betting, by leading out on all streets.

the river was an ugly card

We can play the hand well and still lose.

The question is, how much.

The straight could have got there.

The flush could have got there.

I play the Commerce a lot.

This is only very rarely NOT a made hand.

It's almost never something we beat.

Fold and wait for a better spot.

river is def a fold in that case with V leading 3 streets into us.

I'm debating if the turn is a fold, and I think it might be.

I agree, the turn is a questionable call.

Fold as played.

Raise flop. (Better players, is raising here 6-max ok? Thinking with the board allowing a lot of combos)

What does a $10 raise from UTG in your 6 handed game mean from this Villain? Is it a monster? Is it a pot builder? Could it possibly be both? This will decide whether we should be 3betting/flatting/folding (and I think all 3 could be argued for depending on what is most likely going on).

I'm cool with just calling the flop donk.

I fold the turn. Some straight draws (some with flush draws) just got there. Dude is betting 2 streets in a row into a preflop 3bettor and looking like he wants to attempt to play for big chips. We're beating a bluff / busted flush draw, and that's it. Is he really looking to bluff us off what looks like a huge hand (overpair) for big stacks OOP?

Can't think of single hand we're beating on the river other than complete airball bluffs (and, seriously, when was the last time you saw someone 3 barrel complete air into a preflop 3better?). I go back in time and fold the turn again.
