Wow!... man?

The villain's got a str8 with AJ and limped with his AJ preflop?
A solid TAG limps with AJ? ..., Hum? ..-is that right?
Is that what you said? Mr. solid Tuna, sorry TAG limped preflop with AJ so that he would not know how to play his hand OTF. You're saying that solid TAGs play AJ like a drawing hand? -- - now, that's a good one

I'm cool with preflop and flop.

I might just flat the turn bet. It's likely just going to go HU to the river, and this guy is a decent player. He's mostly going to fold his mediocre hands, and might even just call / fold his better hands like two pair unimproved on this board against someone else who he considers solid. I don't hate the raise, but I think just flatting in position and then evaluating whether to put in a river raise might be better.

No reg solid player is getting in $500 stacks (which is big at 1/3 NL) at a table vs another solid reg (especially if there are fish to beat up) with anything less than J9hh here, especially when he just got raised on a big street in a limped pot where there are obvious straights out there. Trivial fold, imo.

I would consider folding AJ (no heart) here. Dude so far is described as solid player who has mostly kept out of the action, and he's built his stack up to $500, and now he's just blasting it in against a turn raiser in a limped pot? Perfect freeroll spot.

But everyone's game is different. If you've got "solid" players blasting off $500 stacks every other orbit with two pair, then whatever.

I didn't say that he has the AJ straight. I just said that he has the straight and he doesn't want to see a heart roll off.

If V has anything that we beat it would be a superslow set of K's or Q's.

It would be interesting to see what V would do if H rolls his hand over and asks V, "is this good?"

If V does that thing where he looks at H's hand, looks at the board, and then looks back at H's hand, I would make that call.

And then tell the dealer "gimme a heart that doesn't pair the board"

V is a nitty player, not tag. Hero is also nitty. What does the nit think the other nits raising him with? This is ridiculous- it's a clear as day fold.

Unfortunately, I can't offer much. He's been fairly tight, and I haven't been at the table very long, so not much info to go on.

Just post results at this point for those that want them. Spoiler is the "sp" on the top right of the menu.
