1/3 - KK UTG - 250+BB - P/F Facing 3bet + Jam

Just after midnight - Monday night, 7 handed, 1/3 (Treat it like $2/$5), Max sit-down 1500

Table has couple of 5 regs including hero + 2 fishes.

Hero (870) - Sat down over 3 hours ago with 840, have been up or down within 100, have opened some medium-weak hands and took down post flop. Made a lay down against V1 with 88 on 6T997 board after raising on BTN PF to 20, V1 + 3 others called in BB, chk round til river, a fish bets 15 in mp, hero raises to 75, V1 3! to 275. Hero folds after saying "You checked your 66s 3 times!". Otherwise have not shown any bluff and has solid image.

V1 (Covers) - Mid 20s Eastern European guy. Regular to the room, probably loosest on the table, V1 could bluff raise the hand mentioned above. He is not afraid of a gamble/ bluff.

V2 (Covers) - Mid 30s Eastern European, another regular. His middle name is "Has it", today he has ran pretty bad, made a few losing calls against V1 in couple of medium pot.

V3 (130) - Fish. Hero moved to his left to take advantage to his leaks. He has called a raise with T6o earlier in a 5 ways pot and binged a house by river after being dominated by V1's T8, then got stacked with 2 pairs VS set. Finally got back to table with 280 and now down to 130.

V4 (70) - Another fish. Not really relevant in this hand.

UTG - Hero
MP1 - V1
MP2 - V4
BTN - V2
BB - V3

Hero picks up KK and raises to 15, V1 calls, V4 calls, V2 3! to 65, SB folds, BB Jams 130. HERO?

I think my options are call/call, 5 bet/ call or 5 bet open jam, what would you do?

5b $240 and call a jam sounds better. No way I'm folding KK pre vs described V. Hero's 5b range can be wider here because of iso-the-short-stack factor

5-bet 275/calling it off.

Although, flatting with the intention of back raise shoving over V's iso 5-bet sounds pretty sexy.

5b bigger okay but I don't think many regs are 6b shoving 300 BBs without AA here.

This also sounds nice

V is 30's eastern european guy....doesn't sound like the folding type. With the short-stack iso factor in play, I think V can definitely shove worse than AA. What's he doing with AK? Just folding?

Re: 1/3 - KK UTG - 250+BB - P/F Facing 3bet + Jam

Shove it and I don't think it's even close.

Pot is appx 200-275 so any 5! Will give V2 an immediate 2-1 price to just call his 3! Range which is likely a lot wider than were giving him credit for itt -- the squeeze spot plus the fact he "ran pretty bad today" opens it up and he's flatting more than shoving against our line.

I know we're fine with KK at SPR1, but how do we maneuver Axx flops or for that matter since we're open shoving (PSB) almost any flop, he folds a lot correctly, and calls some of the time correctly at 2-1 again, and against a wide range face up I'd like to avoid that scenario just for the 70BB juice.

Further still, I think he can level himself into a call with the same squeeze/run bad/V3 shove light dynamics in place. It's not as wide a calling range as when we 5! 275, but that's cool since any call will do and if he folds, then were still in phenomenal shape to tack on 240BB profit without additional risk.

Fold. losing 300bb to "has it" here is bad IMO. Call and try to soul read is okay too I guess

What is V2's range for this large 3 bet? Some of these ''always have it'' guys aren't doing this without Aces or Kings, so we can cheerfully throw away our cowboys.

What is V3's range here? He just 4 bet a tight player!

I think folding should be included in your options. Tough spot without more specific reads.

Shoving is really bad, IMO. It allows V to hero fold AK/QQ. Sizing our 5-bet properly keeps our range wide. If V views our 5! as an isolation raise, he will shove with AK/QQ.
