1/3 - 9 handed - MGM national harbor (Friday night 9pm)

H - Aggro image (H stack is $450)
V- Young Asian kid that just sat down and bought in for $400. (max buy in is $500).
(V stack is $400)

- Hero is on the button and Hero looks down at KK ( I am thinking " this time, I have it")

- 4 limbs to Hero on the button and I make it $20

- V makes it $50 from big blind. (V - just sat down so he doesn't know about my current Aggro image) BTW- I'm a 40ish white guy.

- Everyone folds and it is back on hero.

Hero?

I would make it at least $30 pre here on the button, but $40+ for sure OOP. AP, I would raise to $135, obviously calling if they jam.

You can either flat the $50 or make it $125 now. $125 is a small 4 bet but works compared to stacks and sets up a nice size to bet $125 on the flop and shove turn. Flatting is a bit more risky but SPR is going to be low and gives villain a chance to spew off on their own. Without a better read on villain it's guess work which is better.

Yeah, I made it $200 and right after I made the bet, I thought.. He is going to fold the hands I want him calling with. I was thinking after the hand I should of made it $125 to $150. He tanked and then he folded JJ.. I won $60 with zero risk of him hitting a set and losing $400. But, I think the better play would of been to make it $130ish.

BTW- at MGM, no flop no drop so there is some advantage of winning money preflop vs post flop.

Yeah you're in great shape either way. Raise PF to get more money in or flatting to get him to bet on the flop. I prefer to keep things simple and raise PF.

I would change the initial raise with 4 limpers. I usually do 4BB + 1BB per limper, so here you'd be looking for at least $25. Don't want a huge multiway with KK.

Larger with your initial raise, smaller with your 4!. Overall it seems okay though.

V's 3! is way too small; H's 4! is too big.

4bet all the way here. No reason to be scared.

With these deep of stacks and facing a 3bet after all these limps (we shouldn't be getting *that* out-of-line, imo), I think I lean to a flat and play some postflop poker in position (possibly even just sigh folding to cbets on A high flops, and otherwise on good boards going into a more calling station mode).

ETA: After 4 limpers this deep the preflop initial sizing is certainly an interesting spot; I think any "standard" raise here might actually be fairly bad (as mostly we go 5ways to the flop with those) so I would mostly consider other options (including a minraise or even an overlimp if blinds are aggro). And I'm not really scared by flatting the 3bet, I more just don't want produce what happened here; a 4bet at most tables I play at is AA (sometimes KK), so if you're looking to fold out worse, then 4bet away. Last session out I 3bet AK preflop with full intention of shoving any flop; thankfully my face up opponent 4bet his AA and prevented me from handing him my stack.
