1/3. $150eff.
Hero raises 15 in ep with KK. Villian on Btn calls.
No history with Villain. Middle eastern guy, short stack, rec player.

FLop(34) A58r
Hero checks. V bets 20. Hero calls.
I thought folding was to weak. Didn't want to get raised either. Villain probably has all kinds of aces though. Is this a fold?

Turn(74) A58 5r
Hero check. V bets 30. Hero?

I typically limp/reraise in EP, but that's my style.

Flop is a pretty clear check/call for me (WA/WB).

Turn I think we have to start soul reading. I mostly start leaning to exiting here against most opponents.

Versus a short-stacker it's not really worth the trouble of putting more money in. It's highly unlikely you blow him of an A. If he will fold an A, as played, just raise the turn, but I don't think it's worth it.

Better reads would definitely help, but with no reads, I lead flop and give up if called or probably just check/fold the flop.

Range bet flop for 1/3 sizing here. Splitting your range into x/c and x/r and cbet is going to get really messy really fast.

I agree with most of this. Don't care about soulreading much. With your flop check and the turn brick, he could be betting underpairs. You had a marginal pair otf, and remains so ott, call here too.

x100

It’s 1/3. He has an A here 99 out of 100 times. And most of those are ****ty aces and will just make you more mad when you call him down every street.

Mucking turn. Players typically don't launch multistreet bluffs on A-high flops against preflop raisers without a hand. When they do, their turn bluff attempt will not be 40% of pot.
