My range for him right now would be 77, QT, AQ, maybe half the combos of TT and no QQ.
That being said, Is the flop a MUST bet? Is considering a check being results based?
My buddy suggested checking the flop as well. I don’t see much merit in checking the flop with a bloated pot, 4 ways, on a wet board. I think my hand is often ahead and giving 3 people a chance at a free card seems -EV to me. If I was heads up I think a check might have some merit, but honestly I’m all ears if someone can convince me on WHY a check might be better here.
