KK UTG, Hero ($300) raises to $15, UTG+1 ($300, semi-loose decent reg who views me as a nit) calls, irrelevant BTN calls
Flop ($45): 8 T J r
Hero bets $35, UTG+1 calls
Turn ($115): 5 r
Hero bets $85, UTG+1 shoves, Hero ???
a) Did I play the hand well?
b) Also, if the flop had 2 to the flush, does our line change?
c) Is checkraising the turn bad?

Jeez, fizzy. Slow down with the posting. You're posting so many hands that you did this one twice.

Prolly a fold, you aren't getting a very good price and I think V plays his sets and 2 pair hands like this.

Preflop we narrowed the field to 3way, which is ok, although we did end up OOP to both opponents.
Fairly dryish board, plus I'm not looking to stack off postflop against these guys (i.e. we don't want to be building a huge pot), so I'd rather bet smaller (say $25).
Turn is where things get tricky due to pot getting big. An $85 bet will build a big $285 pot on the river with us only having a mere $165 left. Did you want to play for stacks postflop? Cuz that's what we are doing with these biggish flop/turn bets. If we were in position, we could have pot controlled and simply checked behind on the turn, but unfortunately we are OOP. This is a tough spot. I'd probably check the turn and see what happens.
As played, thankfully our opponent raised which enables us to release our hand. If he hadda just called, he probably would have got the rest of our stack.

I'm ok with the flop sizing since it's kind of a draw-y board, but I probably go half-pot on turn. I think $85 folds out most of the range you are trying to get value from.
I think it's a fold once he shoves.

Even a small 1/2 PSB on the turn still sets us up for a sucky river situation if called (where pot will be $235 and we only have $190 left / 4/5PSB left).

I don't understand this. If I bet turn small, the advice I'd get would be something like "you bet turn too small and let villain catch up.. bet around 70-80% of pot on turn with so many drawy cards to come on the river"
How is a 8TJ board dry from any angle???

If you are viewed as a nit you are crushed here
Would need more info on V to make this call but since you have a nit image you might as well save the $170 and fold.
For me this is a call like 95% of the time vs most of my Vs since I usually have an aggressive image I get V's to do this with all kinds of stuff KK is beating. Easy call for me, prolly fold 4 u
