1/3 JJ thin value shove? 1/3 JJ thin value shove?

Villain (MP): 30s white guy, passive and slightly loose (covers)
Hero (CO): mid 20s Asian, TAG image ($300)

UTG straddles $6. Two limpers to hero who makes it $35 with JJ. Folded to villain who calls.

Flop: 963 ($81)

Checked to hero. Hero bets $65. Villain calls.

Turn: K ($211)

Checked to hero.

I was planning on shoving a safe turn given the SPR. I don't think checking back is good cause half the deck will be bad. It's a little thin but I think I can get called by worse here. Only really worried about king high heart draw or two combos K9s otherwise I don't think the king helped villain. Shove?

I think you made this hand pretty difficult to play with your bet-sizing. I would have gone for a smaller raise to around $20-$25 preflop and can c-bet about $35. Not pot-committing yourself in that scenario.

A shove is only getting called by better. Since he's a passive villain. Go ahead and bet/fold $100 to get some value from flush draws. Checking back all rivers.

Preflop is fine.

The danger with jamming turn (it's basically a PSB) is that we pretty much fold out all worse hands (unless this is the type of villain to never fold FDs).

I think something like $100 is better. And then check back pretty much all rivers. Passive villains will play pretty straight forward here.

Turn jam seems fine (it's a psb). Getting someone to fold or call with the Ace high fd is pretty nice. Not many kings in their flop calling range other than KX.

I'd be more inclined to consider checking behind JJx.

??? Where are these posters coming from?

Anyway, go ahead and shove. You only have a pot-size bet left, and there are a lot of cards you don't want to see on river. Don't give him a chance to catch up with decent odds. He might call with worse.

I check behind here. Not going to go for 3 streets of value with JJ any way. By keeping the pot smaller I may only have to call a small bet on the river to bluff catch.

Hmm, interesting spot.

I don't love shoving, just a little too wild for my taste and only getting called by better. I suppose you foldout some equity but villain could have floated with any combo of Kh. If the turn instead was the Kh and it was just the second heart on board I like bet fold better.

I think I check behind and bluff catch on the river to a reasonable sized bet.

Close spot but the pros of not shoving into a much better hand outweigh the benefit of equity I fold out. And I think villain can bluff a lot of hands on the river.

Villain is passive. Why do we think he's bluffing river?

He's also loose, so good chance he calls with his flush draws.
