225 eff

No real reads on V, he did see me get stacked 10 mins ago

1 limp, H (UTG+2) raises to $15 w/JcJh, 5 callers including V in BB

Flop T82dds (90)
Checked to H, H bets 60, only V calls

Turn 6s (210)
V checks, H jams 150

Is this standard, or should I giving up on this flop texture 6 way?

You're committed after the flop bet and it's difficult not to bet the flop because we hate so many turns. I play it the same FWIW.

I'm not thrilled with our preflop result, which is kinda half expected at my tables.

We have an SPR of lol ~2 (where our first bet likely commits us) and yet we gave 5 opponents 20+ IO to stack us (all of them likely knowing exactly where they are on the flop unlike us). Meh.

I really don't know what to do in these spots. I probably lean towards check/evaluate and see what happens and then make as informed decision as I can whether I should get out or jam.

As played, even though one of the draws got there on the turn (97), the flush draw missed and we're still ahead of other stuff so likely jamming now with on only a 3/4 PSB left.

And it's likely EV.

I just think we can do better.

How can we do better? I mean once they all call you can consider JJ as nutted as possible on T82dd spr2 - just make the best play knowing you aren't folding. I just jam flop.

We can do better by having someone raise, seeing 4 callers, and then taking it down ourselves preflop rake free, and if someone wants to look us up that's mostly fine too.

As I say, everyone here ended up getting fairly good 20+ IO preflop; setminers are certainly having a field day. But you'll make up for some of this in draws calling the flop (I actually like the idea of jamming as draws likely won't fold in a pot this big). Non-morons will mostly be able to fold everything else that is behind, so overall I still question whether this result is more profitable than a limp/reraise at this type of table.
