Hero sitting at the table for 5-10 minutes and bought in for 700. Villain is 25-30 and looks competent but i could be wrong. Has around 1k.

First hand we play at the table. Hero raises in ep to 11€ (standard raise here) with AQ, villain sitting to our left 3b to 37€, only hero calls. Thought about 4b/f to ~120 but given it is the first hand we play and no infos on villain we call.

Flop (78) T96
check check
Turn (78) T96K
villain bets 50, hero?

Not sure if x/c or x/r is better.

Just call. Unlikely you’re ahead. He might take this line with KK or KhX against your capped range.

On one side i think there is no need to start turning our hand into a bluff but on the other side even though the K is better for his range i think the board is a lot better for our range. We have the 2 pairs, sets and straights. He only has KK and maybe TT but no 99, 66, straights or 2 pairs.
Thats why im not sure if call or raise is better

Just call, unless you think he has a fold button with AK
Without reads I am not trying to run any big bluffs

This is the third hand of yours I've responded to today where you're playing HU OOP (where your preflop raise has enabled an opponent to 3bet isolate you). That ain't a good long term strategy, imo.

I'd probably lean to just check/calling on the turn. Most villains don't weakly check back the flop to fold (they check it back to get to showdown), so I'm not convinced we have much FE.

I know from your posts that you are a really passive player and prefer the passive options which is ok and by no means an attack. I wont start folding strong hands like AQs or 99. You cant always play ip. You can only try to play as much as possible ip.

If you have TT 200bb deep would you fold to a 3b oop? I hope you dont because if you do you cant open any hands except AA

We have to open hands?

ETA: Obviously lots of different ways to play. But my point is that in all your posts this morning you've mostly managed to isolate yourself OOP to likely a better hand. I certainly hope you're getting into a lot more different spots with better results or otherwise it is going to be a concern.
