Snap call. Even if he literally has nothing but boats (that is, { AK, AT, A9, TT, 99 }) you have 30% equity and you need 90/304 = 29.6% to break even on a call.

+1. Considering the player type, you will lose a decent % of the time, but it is still a call. This is a good time to ask to see a card. It never hurts and you would be surprised how many times players will give you information that will help you make decisions. I asked a guy once to see a card when he went all in and he said, "Sure. I will show you both." He did and it saved me $200 because I was almost for sure calling with trips when he had Aces full.

Calling because he can have 99, TT as easily as AT/A9.

At first I was like "what card could he possibly show that would help", but actually if he shows an ace, I think we should fold, since it eliminates TT and 99 from his range. A lot of OMCs would flat with AQ and I also think that, even if trips are in his range, he's more likely to show the ace if he has a boat.

Like our preflop bet size against stacks this size (10%) as we can now simply commit postflop on non-A boards.

This is the one board we don't commit on. We're WA/WB and I also check the flop.

I don't mind the small 1/2 PSB bet on the turn. There's some straight draws to protect against and he might call with a pair given our flop check. He's also an OMC so much less chance of him bluffing if we check to him again (i.e. against aggros checking to setup a bluffcatcher would be fine).

I might just shove all in on the river myself. Villain only has $120 left and while that is an overbet into a $60 pot I find it's still a relatively small bet in terms of $$$ at 1/3 NL; let's just hope he's made a straight / has an Ace / etc. A lotta OMC will just call the river bet without the nuts so we lose value by betting small here, imo. The shove is a little scary (for the reason I just stated), but we're ahead of enough to warrant a sigh call, imo.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback. Is there anyone that could fold in this spot?

I snapped called and unfortunately I get shown the bad news. He turns over AT.

I guess I should've checked on the turn and probably folded to a bet depending on his bet size.

Meh, don't be results oriented. If you check both the flop and turn (which I'd be ok with) then I think we have to call the turn bet (as by that time he could easily be betting any pair thinking it's good). If he fires again on the river, and isn't known to be bluffy, that's when we can think of laying it down UI.

Worrying about boat vs boat hands is a total waste of time. Work on more common scenarios.

Effective stacks are 50 bb unless I am missing something. You simply can't fold that river for that amount unless V shows you he has you beat.
