That hand range is a joke right? You realize OP raised 5x from EP and we're saying he can have A8s, 98s, 87s or T7s?

If you're one of the weakest players in the game, you should not be in the game.

+1 (or, at the very least, this simply isn't going to be a profitable table for you)

And if you are just going to gut it out until the table gets better, then you're far better off taking down all pots preflop (which you are far more likely to accomplish with a limp/raise, not a raise).

I would limp and hope for a raise pre-flop. AA isn't that strong unimproved against three opponents. You have to try to get more money in pre-flop. If you were later to act pre-flop, then you can raise because chances are you are the only one that will raise. It's also easier to play with position. The dream with AA is to get all-in pre-flop. It's easier to do that by limp re-raising from under the gun.
As played, fold to the river. He probably has an 8 and wanted to check raise the flop.

Was going to say this. Surprised it took 28 poasts for someone to bring it up.

Just go play an easier table or a lower stake.

As for the hand: everyone is super deep, bigger pre.

Bet flop

After betting turn and getting raised, it's a cheap price so I might call but not super happy about it. Folding seems nitty but considering "best table evah", probably the best option in hand

Rack up and go home afterwards too

Trivial limp/rr/stackoff.

You won't outplay 5 people post-flop with 1-pair, especially if all of them are better than you.

AP, I bet/fold flop to the tune of $80 (if that sounds horrible, that's because it is and we only find ourselves there because of a misplayed pre-)

Re: 1/3 game with AA UTG (toughest 1/3 game I’ve ever played on)

*Player raises to $15 UTG, gets 4 callers*
"Bro you should've gone for a limp-reraise instead"

*Player limps AA UTG, 5 other limpers, 6ways to the flop*
"Fancy play syndrome bro. Just open to $15 and play your hand straightforward. This game isn't hard."

*Player successfully limp-raises to $70, gets 2 callers, flop comes QQ2*
"See this is why you don't limp-raise bro. Your hand is face up and there's no Qx in your range except 1 combo of quads. Stop fancy play syndroming. This game isn't hard."

Gotta love how results-oriented everyone is.

Fwiw I play preflop, flop and turn almost exactly the same way (maybe a slightly bigger turn bet but that's it). River I fold.

^

We're not being results oriented.

At a table where we feel a little outclassed, the nut low result preflop is to raise and get multiple callers (a perfectly expected result at most tables), and now we're OOP with possibly a face upish hand against difficult opponents with a difficult to handle SPR.

Where as if we limp/reraise, we get in huge percentage of our stack and it doesn't matter if someone outflops us because they simply payed far too high a price to do so preflop. And if it limps thru, whatever, we can even just nit check/fold without a set and move on to the next hand.

I don't love it but I feel like out hand is way too underrepped to fold getting a decent price.

So we tank for awhile and V shows 87 suited

Again this 1/3 game was unbelievable. If anything it gave me good practice for the future
