Saturday game at MGM national harbor. Hero and villain both have around 800.

Villain seems pretty decent and able to hand read. He got a big part of his stack when he opened took down a fairly large part with K9s that he opened and called a tiny 3 bet with, checked flop, turned a K and bet 2 streets for value. Overall he seems fairly tight and doesn't get out of line too much.

Hero has been playing tight from upfront but loose in position, and has bet somewhat thin for value in a couple of spots, which I'm sure villain noticed. We've been mostly staying out of each other's way.

Hero straddles to 6, villain raises to 20 from CO, loose station guy who's on tilt calls button, hero calls with K1/3 NL combo draw T1/3 NL combo draw

Flop (60) A1/3 NL combo draw Q1/3 NL combo draw 91/3 NL combo draw
Hero checks, villain 30, station folds, hero calls.

Turn (120): 81/3 NL combo draw
Hero thinks and checks, villain 60, hero 210??

Thoughts so far, and plan for rivers?

Thanks in advance!

Is preflop really going to be profitable, playing a decent player / hand reader OOP? Or are we just banking on making all our money from tilty calling station Button (who still has position on us)? I fold preflop.

I probably just donk the flop. We have decent hand and decent FE. We're also super deep and OOP so we're not thrilled if anyone continues to a check/raise and we whiff the turn.

I get our thinking on the turn. Dude is a good hand reader, JT just got there, and he's deep and won't want to continue getting involved with just a TP hand. And if he calls we have outs. I get it. It's probably not a bad play. I probably don't do it, but that might be more an issue with my game than yours.
