1/3 NL

Hero: Table Image is tight aggressive and has showed down the winner about every hand

Villain: Tight moderate pre, and loose moderate-agg postflop.

UTG:Fold
UTG+1:Fold
MP Hero (600):KQo raise to 10
MP2 Villain (190): Call 10
folded around

Flop (19): QdQx8d

Hero?

SPR 9. Is there any justification of checking to induce bluff and possibly play for stacks or is it just always a leadout?

Always a lead out. Your going to get called by a flush draw or someone who thinks you are C-betting a miss here. This is good. Both would check behind often. This is bad. Good>Bad. Lead out.

yeah i would lead out almost always.

If player seems competent and kind of aggressive, I would bet flop and check turn to let him try to execute his float.

If he seems like he calls too much when he is behind, just keep value betting.

Is $10 a typical open size at your table? I'm shocked a $10 open gets this HU at a 1/3 table, $10 might as well be a limp at my typical 1/3 table. If all the stacks are smallish (like in the $200 range) I would consider opening my TP type hands much larger (to like $20) so that I can easily stack off postflop with TP due to setting up a small SPR.

Even though the SPR ain't great due to our too small open, opponent started hand with only 63bbs and we've flopped a ~nuttish hand. There's flush draws, gutshots and worse Qs. I'm probably looking to stack off postflop by bet/bet/betting.

If you check, how are you going to get stacks in? If you check-raise that line is obviously a Queen to just about everyone. Just bet, bet, bet and hope he either calls or raises.

Super wet board. Always lead. Lead for value. Make sure you evaluate the turn closely and possibly give a free card there if it makes more sense.

Eh typical open size is between 8-15. I was playing a day game and it was the only table actually running at the time, so most players were actually "halfway" competent. With my playstyle I try not to make a huge variation between open sizes.

With the villain being what I perceive as loose moderate post flop I have seen her fire on multiple accounts when checked to her. I was going to check/call flop. And check/raise turn. The check raise on the turn I figured would already be close to her going all in. Thats mainly why I posted this hand. With villain having under 65BB I was wondering if instead of just firing and hoping she somewhat connected, if maybe checking would be a better line. Maybe shes figuring she's getting it in with a good semi-bluff. I know this is very villain dependent, but I figured I'd give the post a shot anyways haha. Also can anyone inform me of how to quote multiple people in one post?
