Midwest casino

Hero: 20/30s male. Was sitting when V1 sat down. I've raised preflop and taken it down and I think that's it.

Villain: 20/30s male wearing a ball cap and sunglasses. From him talking to another person who I assumed was a reg I concluded he was probably a reg, no clue on good or bad. Saw him call preflop and fold flops.

Effective stacks $300

UTG limps, folds to Hero on BTN raises to 15 with AA, SB folds, V in BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: 963 (pot=~40)

V checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 29, V check raises to 85, UTG folds, Hero?

Without a better read I would fold. It is a good situation for him to be bluffing but there are just too many hands he can have. The only cards hero wants to see on the turn are non-clubs higher then ten. At this point you have no idea if he has any pure bluffs in his range, what his semi-bluffing rate is or if the check/raise on a dangerous board means you are already beat.

I can't see myself folding here. There's p,entry of worse flops for AA. So what are you putting him on? A set? Two pairs unlikely. Flush draw? He could have 1010 to jj. In my personal opinion folding is way too nitty. You would almost always fold hen with overpaid on a flop.

I will preface this by saying I am nitty and do not like being in a large pot with one pair. So, without any information on this guy, I would fold

Because we weren't able to raise an amount preflop to setup a trivial postflop commitment spot (to like ~$30, which might not fly at your table against one limper), then I think we can't commit postflop. So I bet/fold.

I mean, it's a little difficult because obviously this guy saw us open on the Button and we could have a wide range there and he knows that and blah blah blah, but overall people just aren't playing back at us nearly as much as we think. ETA: As stated above, it's also possible he isn't playing back with TT/etc., but things aren't going to get any easier on the turn (where TT will probably still continue betting thinking they're up against a draw), so if we are going to call the flop we'd better have a plan for the rest of the hand (and if calling the flop to fold the turn is it, then we're probably just better off folding now).
