Villain is a seems like a recreational player and he seems to be playing around 80% of hands and almost exclusively limping. Seems fit or fold on the flop but this is just based on a few orbits. He is a MAWG. It has been a very good day for hero so far.

It folds around to me in the SB w/ KQ and I make it $20.

I feel like villain is going to call basically anything.

Here I decide to check because villain has been so fit or fold that I don't want to miss my chance to hit a high hand and maybe we can give him a little room to bluff.

He checks back.

Turn ($40) K K 5 7

I bet $15 and villain calls.

River ($70) K K 5 7 4

I bet $35 and villain raises to $90.

I wouldn't expect him to have 63 here because he is folding some hands, but I do suppose 86 is possible. Again, he's playing like 80% of hands and my "read" here is only based on maybe 3 orbits.

Seems okay.

Call as played. Maybe even go bigger pre like 24.

Your title says "Can we fold strong trips". The answer is Yes we can sometimes, but certainly not in this hand. The question you should be asking is should we reraise or not here with strong trips.

this was my thought process and i did end up making the call.

At least $30 pre, bet flop every time, way bigger on turn, bigger river, call as played - fold is the worst option
