Villain (BU; 30s reg; haven't seen any hands from him)
Hero is the effective stack with $250.

2 limpers in MP, villain raises $15 on BU, hero calls from BB with 3

, limpers call

Flop ($61) K

Checks to villain who bets $20, hero raises to $60, folds to villain who shoves ($235 effective), hero?

A shove for this size never seems like a bluff, and I don't think villain really has any two pairs here. It seems like it's always 88 or KK? Maybe an AXdd hand could play like this (maybe AKdd)?

Always calling, though not loving it. Depending on your image, he could have you on a semi bluff with your flop c/r, so I'd put most AK in his range, as well as AA and the bigger sets. He could have some NFDs, but if he's a reg, he's probably not 3! semi-bluffing, as he should know that few LLSNL Vs have a raise/fold range.

If you're thinking of folding bottom set on this flop, why are you even playing pocket 3s? Of course this is a call. If he has 8s, it's a cooler. This could easily be AK or pocket aces.

Bruh you have 80bb with a set on a FD board. Folding here is completely atrocious. Pay the man his money if he has a set...

He even still has hands like Kxdd/AKdd that you beat and who knows he could be spazzing AA/AK

I see people do this all the time with AK/AA where they decide you might be bluffing and just want to get the money in before a flush hits.

Preflop is very meh. We're first to call and OOP and we aren't exactly deep and setmining with small pairs is massively overrated, imo.

I'd just donk the flop and hope I get action as checking thru would be a disaster.

As played, I also check/raise facing the small bet.

If we can't fistpump snap the shove then that's another reason suggesting preflop ain't perhaps that great.
