Uncapped private game. Villain is 300BB deep, hero covers. The guy is apparently something of an idiot judging by the table talk from the regulars but I hadn't played with him before. Only thing that may be relevant in terms of history is V shipping a couple hundred BB over an $85 3bet and saying he had kings when everybody else folded. Not a lot to go on but the potential for goofy stuff due to depth is there.

Button straddles to $15, V calls in BB, hero has 3d3h and calls UTG+1. Folded to button who checks.

Flop: 6c5c3s

V bets $25, hero raises to $60, button folds, villain calls.

Turn: 9s

V checks, hero bets $100, villain raises to $300. Hero calls (bad) after tanking (worse).

River: 7s

V ships ~$500. Hero folds.

I think this is the worst. Probably a trivial fold to the turn raise and if not I guess I have to go with it. Kind of just got lost at the table and blew it.

Calling the turn is ok calling $200 into $520 getting 2.5:1 implied. Fold the river.

So any four makes a straight, 87 got there, and back door flush got there. I think I call turn and call a blank or board-pairing river, esp w position. But the 7s is such a bad card, all we beat now are bluffs.

V's reputation is that he's a bad player which I assume means a lot of 4X hands and XXss hands are in his limping range, even OOP in a straddled pot.

He could be semi bluffing a pair and club draw on the turn and shipping missed clubs on the river but I hate that every straight draw got there. Our hand is good here some percentage of the time but I don't think we're getting the right price to cal it off without a serious read on this V. I wouldn't be surprised to see he flopped a straight here.

Folding turn would have been -ev. I can't see this guy folding 87 on a 9 river.
