1/3$, aria, full ring, friday night
Hero: about 450$, white, mid 20s, hat, hoodie, playing more hands IP, rarely limping. Ive topped off a few times and I am in the game for about 500$ (not sure if anyone noticed). I won a decent pot in the BB when i flopped bottom two, bet out, filled up on the turn, and V's folded to my 3rd fire OTR.
It could be possible that any V's that are paying attention think i am a little too tight.
V1: 300$, white male about 40yo, very nice guy. he and I have been chatting back and forth for the last few hours. dude has been playing super tight passive. limps instead of opening almost all the time. I think he topped off once for a 100$ bill. Honestly dont think we have seen any hands from him.
V2: 600$, older white lady, short red hair, very chatty as well. Funny thing: she and I both are from Chicago and play in the same room regularly, yet, tonight, we find ourselves at the same table in Vegas. She is known for overbetting pots relentlessly, getting stuck big, complaining when she gets it in bad....total mark at the table.
I say hello to her when she sits down and we have a quick convo about how we are enjoying vacation, enjoying the warm weather, etc.
The table has been a pretty uneventful one. Ive been debating changing for a while, but i have no clue about any players in the room, so i dont know if i am changing from an average table to a terrible one...so i stay.
The Hand.
V1 limps UTG+1, red hair lady makes it 17$ after V1 limps, folds to hero in BB with 10
10
. Hero and V1 call.
The Flop: 10
6
7
(52$)
Hero leads 30$. both call. I am super surprised that V1 calls. I'm honestly thinking he has the A
flush already....he has been soooo friggin tight, for the last 3 hours. red hair lady calls too.
The Turn:10
6
7
7
(142$)
Hero bets 45$. I keep it small because i feel i can still get a big bet in on the river, plus it kinda looks like a blocker bet --> hopefully i can induce. Plus, this is still pretty cheap for all draws to stay in.
V1 calls, and red hair lady makes it 140.
This is where i got alil unsure.
I have bet out two street OOP, and been raised after showing strength. Do i want to raise red hair lady to guarantee we get stacks in? Or do i want to call, allow V1 to call, and then hope for a brick on the river so red hair lady can call a big bet OTR?
There are really only a few terrible cards that kill action OTR. I coudlnt decide if i wanted to keep V1 in, and risk not getting action on the river....or just play HU with red hair lady.
What do we think makes up more money long term?
