Live 1/3
V1(900) and V2 (~300) are both middle-aged, asian regs (males) who haven't appeared to get out of line in the 2 hours the hero was at the table. Hero (mid 20's white male) (~415)should appear pretty snug, only showed down one hand in two hours and has not played many. OTTH

V1 opens 16 in HJ, V2 calls OTB, Hero raises to 70 with AK in the sb. Both V's call.

Flop KJ8 (203)

Hero leads out 135. 2 calls.

Turn KJ85 (608)

Hero ??

Open to flop and turn suggestions, I think pre is correct as it was standard 3B at table

I'm taking the exact same line more or less.

by 3 betting preflop you are committed with top pair, so the answer to your question is yes.

SPR < 3, proper play dictates you are all in with top pair or better by the turn unless the board is super bad like a 4 flush.

OP, please don't post results, including your last action. They bias advice. I edited them out. Please don't post them until discussion dies down or at least one day after OP.

I'm either/or preflop. With some dead money in the pot I'm fine with 3betting to our amount to setup a stackoff postflop with TP. However, I also don't hate flatting and keeping in some dominated hands and playing a higher SPR smaller pot (albeit OOP).

SPR is < 2. On this drawy a board I think I just open shove.

Turn is obvious at this point.

i also am on the fence about pre, i might just call. the problem is by 3 betting you are going to be faced with crap decisions when you whiff the flop and have so much of your stack in the middle already.

Pre is very standard and fine. Flop sizing up is fine, turn is a jam. Well played.

Ended up jamming my remaining 200 OTT, 2 calls. River Q completing the flush draw and V1 turns over JJ for a flopped set. gg. I was hoping I could somehow get away from stacking off with TPTK for over 100BB’s, but as played I don’t think I should be here and just gonna chalk this one up as a cooler
