1/3
3 or 4 limps, V in CO (140-150) makes it 13, H (500) looks down at AKo OTB
I'm not sure what to make of this small raise because I have never played with this guy before. If we were 100 BB deep, this would be an easy 3b/fold but when villain's stack is so short, I'm not sure if it's correct to:
a) Just flat, go multi-way and play a pot IP
b) 3b to 30 to find out where we're at and fold to 4b , disadvantage being V never folds to our 3b and could put us in a semi-committed spot post-flop if we whiff but cbet
c) 3b to 45-50 to make sure V doesn't get odds to call with inferior hands but being confused what to do when he shoves OR calls and and we whiff flop but feel mandatory to cbet/GII

Raise to 40, we're not foldling to villain's shove. And we're probably stacking off on almost every flop if he calls.
The question is the other villains. If one of them calls, and main villain calls, then the pot is super bloated when main villain gets it in on the flop. We can't get another villain to fold a worse hand without committing ****-tons of chips.
If you think 40-50 has an excellent chance of getting heads up with main v, then do that. If not, then just call and play straightforward in position.

In this hand, if we raise to 40 and get shoved on by V, then there is 200 in the pot and 100 to call. We'll see all five cards with our AK, so I'm feeling pretty good about 3-bet shoving here.
In the hand you linked (link doesn't work, but I found it)......the hero made a smaller 3-bet and got shoved on by a larger stack. Stupid math gets in the way there. In the hand you linked, the hero is asked to call 170 into a pot of 230. HUGE DIFFERENCE
Also, one hand is 1/2 and the other is 1/3. Also makes a difference.
