Maybe we simply have different opinions on what "a lot of play" means. Stacks being put at risk due to three small bets (noting our commitment decision is faced pretty much on the second bet, if not the first) / a single raise / 2 large bets (where again commitment decision is faced on first bet) / etc. isn't exactly my idea of "a lot of play".

What is more, there are times where villain might just go check check on river when villain has two pair and save hero money since hero would have called a bet on river.

You get value here more often from XC here rather than betting. You get flatted by two pair too often and lose. TPTK is not a hand you want to bet on a board this draw heavy.

How does villain ever have better than 2p here given action? Maybe K4 sometimes but it's spewy to 3 bet that pre IMO. It's not like he's raising A7s or A8s. If he raises 77 for thin value, sick play by him.
