Hero: late 20s white male. Image is largely irrelevant. Stack $300

Villain: 30s/40s white male. Just table changed. This particular casino only has 5 tables and is reg infested so while that doesn't mean he can't be a drooler it does rule out it being his first time at the poker table. Stack $270

On to the hand

Folds to Villain in MP who opens to $10, HJ calls, CO calls, Hero on BTN makes it $45 with AA, folds around to villain who insta flats, both other players fold.

Flop: Q64 (pot=$110)

Villain checks, hero bets 75, villain jams. Hero?

butthurt call

The only hand I think he will show up with is QQ/flush draws and Qx. Call it a day.

With stack sizes and your c-bet size, if you fold. Would be so bad

I guess I should more specifically ask, for some rando, how many combos of KK do you think plays this way? I obv lose to 9 combos of QQ, 44, and 66. Is AQ making this play? Would you just give say half the combos of AQ and KK, maybe one or two combos of KQ as a range to a brand new player?

OP, if you're wondering, he needs like 2 combos that's not QQ to call.

With no 66/44 in his range, because is that really an insta call?

If you want to include 44/66 in his range, you need 5.

3bet pot. 100bb. V range when shoved in worst scenario:
KK, QcQh, QdQh, QdQc, AsKs, AdQd, AdQh, AdQc, AsQh, AsQc, AsQd
You win 72% vs this range. Please it is a snap call. Why even posting this kind of hands...

If Villain just setmined getting ~9.5:1 implied odds, nice hand sir, here is all my monies.

Obviously a little gross that our hand looks fairly face-upish and we just got check/jammed on, but we don't have the As so he could easily have the nut flush draw, or Qx or whatever.

Once we setup preflop the way we did (which was nice sizing to prevent setmining, imo), we can't fold postflop. I probably would have PSB the flop just for that extra value if he calls, and I snap call the shove.

Snap calling with the A still out there and KK very much in villain's range. Sorry he had 66.
